Mumbai: Preity Zinta has landed in a court battle with the participants of her IPL team Punjab Kids. Preity has filed a case in the court against her co-partner Mohit Burman over his move to sell his stake in the team.
Preity has a 23 percent stake in this team. Burman is going to sell his 11.5 percent stake to a third partner. It is said that there was a rift between Burman and Preity for a long time. Now Preity has filed a case against Burman in the Chandigarh High Court. According to her argument, Burman cannot take a unilateral decision to sell his share as per the pre-emption rights of the company agreement. The court has decided to hear the case on August 20.
Preity's ex-boyfriend Neha Wadia is also a partner in this team. Preity, who has been away from Bollywood for a long time, is now making a comeback with Sunny Deol in 'Lahore 1947'.
