Raipur 18 August (HS). To make the Jungle Safari completely plastic free, the Jungle Safari management has taken important steps for environmental protection under the instructions of Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap and guidance of Principal Chief Forest Conservator Wildlife Sudhir Aggarwal.
Director of Jungle Safari Dhammashil Ganvir said that from now on, visitors will not be allowed to carry plastic inside the Jungle Safari. Also, the sale of products with plastic packaging will be banned in the Safari. Tourists are constantly being made aware about the harmful effects of plastic on the environment and tourists are being made aware to adopt an eco-friendly lifestyle along with recycle, reuse, reduce as measures for climate change. The environment is being damaged due to the excessive use of plastic. The use of plastic is also being constantly discouraged by the government.
It will be open for general public from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm
The general public can visit the Jungle Safari located in Nava Raipur from Tuesday to Sunday every day from 9 am to 4 pm. The Jungle Safari will remain closed for the general public on Monday.
