New Delhi: Azam Cheema, the mastermind of the Mumbai terrorist attack (26/11), died in Faisalabad city of Pakistan. He was the intelligence chief of Lashkar-e-Taiba. He had a hand in many terrorist attacks in India. It is being said that Cheema died due to a heart attack. However, given the mysterious manner in which many Lashkar terrorists have been killed in the last few months, various speculations are being made regarding Cheema's death.
Pakistan has accused Indian agencies of being behind the killing of Lashkar operatives. However, India has completely rejected these allegations. According to reports, Cheema was buried in Malkhanwala in Faisalabad. Azam Cheema was the main conspirator of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. The US government says that Cheema trained the terrorists who carried out the November 26, 2008 attack.
