Gwalior, 17 August (HS). Due to sudden land collapse in the district's tehsil headquarters Pichhor on Saturday, a tunnel-like brick structure became visible. On receiving information to this effect, Collector Ruchika Chauhan immediately dispatched a team of the Archaeological Department to the spot. The team is closely examining it on the basis of archaeological parameters. Along with this, the Revenue Department team is also keeping an eye on the spot.
Pichhor's deputy tehsildar Anil Narwariya said that on Saturday, the ground suddenly collapsed on the road in front of the Pichhor tehsil office and a cave-like (tunnel) structure became visible there. A single room-like structure made of bricks is also visible. It is being examined by the team of the Archaeological Department.
