Gwalior: Inspection of cooperative and private fertilizer sales centers in the district | News India

Gwalior, 17 August (HS). The team of Agriculture Department inspected the cooperative and private fertilizer sales centers of Chinoor and Bhitarwar development block of the district on Saturday. On the instructions of Collector Ruchika Chauhan, the inspection team inspected Kushwaha Krishi Seva Kendra, Dhairavi Krishi Seva Kendra Chinoor and Sambhav Trading Company, Rakesh Kumar Mukesh Kumar IFFCO E Bazaar Marketing Association warehouse in Bhitarwar and inspected stock verification, records, price list, stock and license.

The inspection team compared the physical fertilizer stock with the POS. Also, the farmers present on the spot were questioned about the fertilizers being sold at higher prices. The farmers told that DAP is available at Rs. 1355 with loading and urea at Rs. 270 per bag.

As per the instructions of the state government, necessary instructions were given to the operators of fertilizer sales centers. So that farmers get fertilizers at reasonable prices and there is no inconvenience and no irregularities of any kind are committed. It was also said that fertilizer sales should be distributed from morning to evening.

The team reached the MP State Cooperative Federation warehouse in Bhitarwar and inspected it. The District Marketing Officer was instructed to ensure fertilizer distribution by setting up additional counters as per the requirement and storing fertilizers in Chinaur double lock.

During the inspection, District Inspection Team Assistant Director Agriculture Vishal Pathak, Agriculture Development Officer Hari Ram Kori, Senior Agriculture Development Officer Development Block Bhitarwar Devendra Singh Rajput were present.
