Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta said that under the Rajasthan government's flagship scheme Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana, health insurance of Rs 25 lakh and accident insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh is given. Under the free category in the state, the state government has automatically insured the families receiving food security under NFSA and the eligible families of SECC 2011 for free. At the same time, the premium amount of small and marginal farmers, contract personnel and families eligible for ex-gratia amount of Kovid-19 will also be borne by the government, but they will have to apply. The remaining families can avail the benefits of this scheme under the paid category by depositing a premium amount of only Rs 850 through e-mitra.

Deputy CMHO Health Dr Lokesh Gupta said that on getting a policy under Maa Yojana, the family is insured for one year, under which one can avail free treatment under the scheme in all the affiliated government medical institutions and affiliated private hospitals of Rajasthan. Currently, 25 government and 8 private hospitals are listed under the scheme in Bikaner. In the district, more than 54 thousand beneficiaries have been given free hospitalization and operation services worth more than Rs 51 crore under the Adinank scheme from March 1, 2024.

District Program Coordinator Ishan Pushkarna said that any brother can get the insurance policy of Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana by taking his sister's Jan Aadhar Card or number and Aadhar Card or number to the e-Mitra Center, doing e-KYC and depositing a premium amount of only Rs 850. This gift will promise security to the sister's entire family for one year.
