Jhansi, August 17 (HS). The controversy over the teacher appointment in Bundelkhand University is not coming to an end. Yesterday, amidst the high voltage drama that went on all day, the workers of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad once again protested alleging corruption and irregularities in the appointments. The workers of the council said that the report of the committee formed to investigate the appointment of teachers was not made public. The appointments are being made by ignoring the rules. Here the workers of the council sat on a dharna, while in the working council meeting of just 10 minutes, all the envelopes were opened except one. At the same time, the interim Registrar was seen mentioning the name of Dr. Dubey in the sealed envelope of the post of Professor.
Shivaraje Bundela, the provincial minister of Kanpur province of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, alleged that four months ago a memorandum was given to the university to investigate the teacher recruitment process. The report of the committee formed by the university was not made public. Along with this, efforts are being made to appoint some people involved in corruption.
The envelope for the post of professor was not opened
In this case, the university's registrar Vinay Kumar Singh said that an inquiry committee was formed for the recruitment process. It has become clear in the report of the inquiry committee that the process was completely correct. The student council had made allegations against a professor. His appointment has been stopped. He said that a case has been registered against Dr. Dubey of the education department in Himachal Pradesh. Taking cognizance of this matter, this envelope has been stopped.
The interim registrar told the name of the professor in a sealed envelope
The shocking thing in this entire episode was that the Registrar was telling the media very frankly that the appointment of a female teacher on the post of Professor has been stopped. He even told that the professor whose appointment has been stopped is a Dr. Dubey of the Education Department. He also told that a case is going on against her in Himachal Pradesh. The question arises that when the name of the selected candidate is kept confidential in the envelope, then how did the omniscient Registrar know that the name of the female teacher Dr. Dubey is written in it?
Did not complete the process of Mathematics subject
It was also alleged that the process for the interview of Mathematics subject was not completed. Instead of three, only two experts came. One was from Bhopal, Computer Science and the other was from Rajasthan, who was Statistics. Despite this, how was the interview conducted in a transparent manner? Some professors had also raised objections regarding this.
