If the license for keeping a dog or cat is not found, action will be taken against the owners.

If the license is not found, a fine of Rs 5,000 will be imposed on the pet owner and the pet will be confiscated.

Registration is mandatory by March 31st

Municipal Corporation Commissioner Amit Aseri has taken this step while reviewing the licenses of dogs. Expressing displeasure over the low number of licenses, he has instructed to send teams to residential colonies, apartments and mohallas for the next 15 days to check the licenses of pet dogs and cats in the houses. In such a situation, strict action will be taken against those who keep pets without license. The Municipal Corporation has been organizing regular camps for the registration of pet dogs and cats, but pet owners are still not getting licenses for their pets. Registration of pets is mandatory.

Only 133 registered

Giving information, Additional Municipal Commissioner Rakesh Kumar said that if any dog ​​or cat owner does not get the registration done by March 31, then a fine of Rs 5000 will be imposed on the owner. The Municipal Corporation is also keeping an eye on all dog shows and veterinary cleanliness. Surprise checks will be done here too. In the urban area, only 133 animal lovers have got their animals registered.
