New Delhi: The Central Election Commission has announced the dates for the Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. Voting will be held on 90-90 seats in the assembly elections in both the states. Voting will be held in three phases in Jammu and Kashmir.

First phase of voting – September 18 (24 seats)
Second phase of voting – September 25 (26 seats)

Chief Election Commissioner of the Election Commission Rajiv Kumar says that there are more than two crore voters in Haryana. 73 out of 90 seats are general. Voter list will be published in Haryana on August 27. There are 20 thousand 269 polling stations in Haryana.
Tenure will end on November 3 in Haryana
The term of the 90-seat Haryana Assembly is ending on November 3. In the last election, the Bharatiya Janata Party was left short of a majority. After this, the BJP formed a coalition government with Dushyant Chautala's Jannayak Janata Party. In March this year, the alliance between the BJP and JJP broke. Currently, the NDA has 43 seats and the India Block has 42 seats in Haryana.
Elections will be held on 90 seats in Jammu and Kashmir
The number of assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir has now increased to 90. There will now be 43 seats in Jammu and 47 in Kashmir. 24 seats are reserved for PoK. Elections cannot be held there. Whereas there is no assembly in Ladakh. In this way, there are a total of 114 seats, out of which elections will be held on 90 seats.
