There is a possibility of huge damage to the crops of ripe gram, mustard, wheat and vegetables due to hailstorm. Due to the strong wind blowing along with the rain, wheat and mustard crops got scattered in the fields. While there was a lot of damage to the crops due to rain in the fields, there was rain everywhere in the urban areas due to the rain that lasted for about half an hour. Due to waterlogging on the roads that were uprooted for new construction, it became difficult for people to even walk there.

Along with rain and hailstorm, the administration has sought reports from the concerned tehsildars.
