Prayagraj, March 02 (HS). In the UP Board examination on Saturday, 247 out of 7,774 candidates were absent in the first shift and 1,04,771 out of 22,65,350 candidates were absent in the second shift. Five boys and two girls were caught using unfair means in the intermediate examination.

UP Board Secretary Divya Kant Shukla has said that the examinations were conducted safely at a total of 544 examination centers in the first shift and at 8229 centers in the second shift. A total of 1,05,018 candidates remained absent today. In the first shift, high school health care, retail trading and intermediate music, singing, playing and dancing were conducted and in the second shift, high school mobile repair and intermediate English subjects were conducted.

The Board Secretary said that in the second shift of the Inter English examination today from the Command and Control Center established in Prayagraj, the center administrator and the concerned room inspector noticed suspicious activities in an examination room of Pt. Ram Kailash Tripathi Inter College, Sirauthi, Dohatha Manda, Prayagraj. Instructions have been given to remove it.
