Even after the coup in Bangladesh and the departure of Sheikh Hasina, the situation has not improved and the violence against minority communities has not stopped. Now spiritual guru Sadhguru has reacted to the plight of Hindus in Bangladesh and said that such heinous violence should be stopped immediately.
He said that the border line that has been drawn at present is not perfect. Reacting strongly to the violence happening in Bangladesh on social media, he said that it is very important to immediately stop the brutal atrocities happening in Bangladesh, but it is also important to document these atrocities in detail. The national boundaries drawn in modern times are not perfect. Cultural affinity and cultural relations are much more important than that. India should be bound not only by the rationality of the borders, but also by the broader realities of a civilization more than 75 years old.
Government order to return the looted weapons to the people
It is noteworthy that the Home Affairs Advisor in the interim government of Bangladesh had also condemned the violence against Hindus. He also said that the protesters had looted weapons including rifles from law enforcers during the recent violence. He gave an ultimatum to hand over all illegal weapons including looted rifles to the police by August 19 and warned of strict action by the police and security forces after that. He said that a total of 500 people, including students, have been killed across Bangladesh during the recent protests.
