Kota, August 13 (HS). A huge rally was organised by Sarva Hindu Samaj in Kota city on Tuesday to protest against the inhuman atrocities being committed on minority Hindus in Bangladesh. Citizens of Sarva Hindu Samaj gathered at CAD ground in the presence of saints. From there, they reached the divisional commissioner's office with sloganeering and handed over a memorandum addressed to the President.

Citizens participating in the rally wearing saffron turbans and Arun flags demanded that the safety of Bangladeshi minorities be ensured by carrying posters, banners and placards in their hands. After reaching the Divisional Commissioner's office, the activists recited Hanuman Chalisa and did Ramdhuni. Mahant Ramdas Maharaj, Prabhakar Saheb, Prabhu Maharaj of Mayapur, ISKCON Temple, Santguru Buddh Das Maharaj, Sant Kamal Das Maharaj, Pramod Das Maharaj and Dr. Ranjitananda Maharaj together handed over a memorandum addressed to the President to the Divisional Commissioner.

The memorandum said that the neighbouring country Bangladesh is caught in a strange uncertainty, violence and anarchy. The minority Hindu community in Bangladesh is going through a delicate and challenging time. There have been targeted attacks on them by a community. In which the people of the Hindu community, including women and children, have been brutally murdered, tortured and their places of worship, business establishments, homes and even crematoriums have been vandalised. There is hardly any district child who has not become a target of Jihadi violence and terror. The Hindu population in Bangladesh has come down from 32 percent to less than 8 percent. They too are constantly becoming victims of Jihadi persecution.

The saints said that the so-called human rights organizations and leaders have humiliated the Hindu society by not saying a single word for the suffering minority Hindus in Bangladesh. The saints demanded that compensation be given to those minority families in Bangladesh where a family member has been killed or harmed. The guilty persons should be brought under the purview of law and prosecuted and punished. There is a possibility of a big attempt of infiltration from across the border taking advantage of this situation. Our security forces should be instructed to be strictly vigilant on the border.

Every Hindu is our brother, if Hindus are safe then India will remain secular

Before the rally, the saints addressed the gathering of Sarva Samaj at CAD Ground. During this, Ramdas Maharaj said that every Hindu living on earth is our brother. He said that Owaisi can chant Palestine Jai in the Parliament, but the public representatives of our opposition parties are silent in raising their voice for the Hindus of Bangladesh. Dr. Ranjitananda Maharaj said that we all stand with the Hindus of Bangladesh. This should also be seen. Any country including India can remain secular only if Hindus remain safe. Our scriptures have taught us to live and let live. Protection of life is the right of every person. Hindus all over the world have now united and are ready to fight any challenge in any situation. Dashrath Das Maharaj said that Hindus have to recognize their strength. Sarva Samaj will show its organizational strength as Sanatani.
