Fair held on 2800th Nirvana day of Lord Parshvanath, Lord's procession taken out | News India

Bikaner, August 13 (HS). The Panch Kalyanak puja was performed with devotional music in the Gangeshwar Parshvanath temple premises of Shivbari on Tuesday in the presence of Acharyashree Jin Piyush Sagar Surishwarji of Jain Shwetambar Khartargachh and the group of nuns. The procession of the lord came out with great pomp and show. Swami Vimarshnand Giri, the head of the Laleshwar Mahadev temple of Shivbari, presented the idol of the lord and worshipped it. The fair of the Jain community was held and a community of mutual love was organised.

Sunil Parikh, Kaushal Duggad, Pappuji Banthia, Vichakshan Mahila Mandal presented devotional songs during the puja along with Acharyashree, Muni and Sadhvi group. 5.25 kg of Nirvana Laddu was offered to Lord Parshvanath. The Shravakas and Shravikaas also paid homage to the idols of Shankheshwar Parshvanath, Lord Mahavir Swami, Dada Gurudev and others in the temple premises.

In the fair of the Jain community, officials of Jain Shwetambar Tapagachchh, Parshwachandra, Khartargachchh, Terapanth, Sadhu Marg Jain Sangh, Shri Jineshwar Youth Council, Shri All India Khartargachchh Youth Council's Bikaner branch and a large number of Shravakas and Shravikaas took part.

Shri Sugan Ji Maharaj's Upasara Trust's president Rai Singh Khazanchi and minister Ratan Lal Nahta said that now every year on the day of Lord Parshvanath's Nirvana Day, on Ashtami, a puja and fair will be organized in Gangeshwar Parshvanath Temple.

Raisingh Khazanchi, president of the Upasara Trust of Sugan Ji Maharaj, said that on Wednesday, chanting will be held in the discourse pandal at Dhadha Chowk, followed by distribution of T-shirts in various markets, and at 8 p.m., a devotional program will be organized by the Adishwar Mandal at Nahta Chowk.

18 Abhisheka Thursdays at Chandraprabha Temple

On Thursday, in the presence of Acharya Shri Jin Piyush Sagar Surishwarji, 18 Abhisheks will be held at 6 am and Uvasaggaharam Mahapuja at 12.15 pm at Chanda Prabhu Temple in Beganion ke Chowk. On the same day, Gawali competition will be held at 2.30 pm in the Upasara of Suganji Maharaj and in the evening, a Bhakti Sandhya will be organized by Kochhar Mandal in Kochhar ki Dadabari. On Friday, 16th August, all the Jinalayas in Bikaner will be illuminated and special Angi will be done in the Moolnayak Bhagwan Parshvanath temples. Ayati Hone Abhishek will be held in the Bhagwan Adinath Temple at Nahata Chowk and Bhakti will be performed by Veer Mandal in the Baidon ke Mahavirji Temple at 8 pm.
