Champawat, 13 August (HS). Cyber ​​criminals did not spare even the District Magistrate. Cyber ​​criminals are demanding money from officers, employees and acquaintances by using District Magistrate Navneet Pandey's photo and creating fake WhatsApp IDs in his name.

In this case, District Magistrate Navneet Pandey has lodged a complaint with the Police Cyber ​​Cell Champawat. The District Magistrate said that by creating a fake WhatsApp account in his name, money is being demanded from officers, employees and other people. He has appealed to the officers and common people of the district not to fall prey to any such message.

He said that if anyone is being contacted through any unauthorized number or social media, they should not fall into the trap and immediately inform the police cyber cell.

The District Magistrate said that if any kind of message or demand for money is made from his mobile number or from any unauthorized number, then ignore the message and block that number immediately and complain about it to the cyber police cell immediately. He also appealed to the general public to be cautious.

Cyber ​​criminals had earlier also created fake WhatsApp accounts in the name of the district magistrate and demanded money from officials.
