KC Venugopal said, 'We called a meeting of AICC general secretaries, in-charges and PCC presidents under the leadership of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. We discussed one of the biggest scams happening in the country right now. We unanimously decided to launch a nationwide agitation on the issue of Hindenburg revelations with demands: One, a JPC inquiry in which the Prime Minister will be fully involved.'
Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has also targeted the Modi government and demanded a JPC inquiry into the Hindenburg report. He said, 'This matter should be discussed in depth. I will hold a press conference soon.'

Hindenburg alleged that the offshore Mauritius fund was set up by a director of the Adani Group through India Infoline and is registered in tax haven Mauritius.
