Mumbai, August 12 (HS). After a fierce collision between a tempo and a truck in Koregaon tehsil of Satara district on Monday morning, both the vehicles caught fire. Two people died in this incident, while two people are undergoing treatment in the district hospital.
According to the police, a tempo was going towards the city in Ambavade Sammat Wagholi of Koregaon this morning. Meanwhile, a speeding truck coming from the front hit the tempo. After this, both the vehicles caught fire and a person traveling in the tempo died on the spot. As soon as the information of this incident was received, the police reached the spot and took the three injured to the district hospital. One of these three people died during treatment, while the condition of one person remains critical.
