Vadodara: A huge stock of foreign liquor has been recovered from many places in Gujarat, against which the Gujarat Police has also taken action. A warehouse of a huge quantity of foreign liquor has been seized in Maghsar GIDC of Panchmahal. Liquor worth lakhs of rupees has been recovered from here. Foreign liquor was imported in large quantities from neighboring states including Rajasthan and sold.
Halol rural police has busted a liquor warehouse under the guise of a closed factory. Information has come to light that there are more than a thousand boxes of foreign liquor of various brands there.
This quantity of liquor was stored and sent to nearby dealer locations including Halol and Vadodara. In the last few years, it has come to light that organized liquor hoarding and Vapala scams are going on. It is worth noting that the police have arrested three accused with a huge amount of liquor, a small elephant, a container and a bike. All three accused are drivers of vehicles carrying liquor from Rajasthan. Some other accused have fled after seeing the police.
In the entire case, the police has registered a case and taken legal action. The police has taken legal action against all these accused. A huge amount of foreign liquor has been confiscated from the warehouse in Maghsar GIDC of Panchmahal. Legal action will now be taken against them.
