Ranchi, August 11 (HS). Railway Protection Force (RPF) has arrested an illegal trader of railway e-ticket. Inspector of RPF Post Ranchi, Diganjay Sharma, said on Sunday that on the instructions of RPF Commandant Pawan Kumar of Ranchi Division, continuous action is being taken under Operation “Available” against illegal traders of railway e-ticket.
In this sequence, with the help of Sukhdev Nagar, a person named Chandramouli Mishra has been arrested. His residence in Vidya Nagar was raided. During the raid, 16 railway e-tickets were recovered. The value of the recovered tickets was found to be 49 thousand 200. During interrogation, he told that he used to make tickets with his personal ID to sell to customers for his personal benefit. On admitting his crime, the said person was arrested under section 143 of the Railway Act.
