Ranchi, August 11 (HS). Under the program of every household tricolor, the Jharkhand Directorate of Cultural Affairs organized an Independence Day celebration program in the auditorium of the State Museum Hotwar. Under the four-day Independence Day celebration program organized from August 1 to 14, drama, folk song dance and classical song dance are to be presented.
In the drama competition organized by the Directorate, performances were given by five participating drama art groups on Sunday. Everyone mesmerized the people with their performances. Under the event, performances were given by the students of classical music, Nagpuri folk songs, Mandar playing and Mundari folk song dance undergoing training at Jharkhand Kala Mandir Hotwar.
Anil Thakur, Sushil Ankan, Rakesh Raman, Dr. Shakir Tasneem, Coordinator Department of Performing Arts Central University Jharkhand and Dr. Niyati Kalp Coordinator Performing and Fine Arts Department Ranchi University were present in the program.
