Jind, August 10 (HS). The women police station has registered a case against the principal under various sections including rape, after he raped a 10-year-old girl in a private school up to class V in Sadar Thana Narwana area.
A woman living in Sadar police station area told the police in her complaint that her ten-year-old daughter is a student of class four in a private school in the village. Her daughter had gone to school on Friday as well. When she returned home, she had pain in her stomach and legs. In the evening, there was an argument between her and her husband over some issue. On which the upset daughter said that the school principal troubles her during the day. Now she has no peace even at home. When the family members asked the girl, she exposed the misdeed of the school principal. The girl told the family members that on Friday she was sitting in the school room. At that time Principal Yashpal came there and asked to close the window of the room.
After which the Principal took her to the bathroom on the pretext of showing her the new condition of the school and raped her. She was threatened on telling anyone about the incident. The school Principal had been doing indecent acts with her in the past as well. Giving information on Saturday, Mahila Thana in-charge Mukesh Rani said that on the complaint of the victim's mother, the police have registered a case against the accused school Principal Yashpal for rape, hostage taking, sexual harassment and under various Indian Penal Code sections including six POCSO Acts and have started the investigation.
