A pedestrian died when the flag touched the 11,000 KV line

Jaipur, 10 August (HS). In Kanota police station area, a pilgrim going to Diggi with a flag died due to electric shock on Saturday. According to the information, the accident took place near Hirawala on Kanota Road. The pilgrim had left for Diggi with the flag on Saturday morning. The flag touched the 11000 KV line. This caused electric shock in the flag. It is worth mentioning that the Diggi padyatra will start on Sunday.

Police officer Gautam Dotasara said that 35-year-old Jagdish Prasad Saini, a resident of Booj village of Jamwaramgarh tehsil, left on Saturday with the flag of the Yatra to go to Diggi. At around three in the afternoon, near Hirawala on Kanota Road, the flag touched the 11,000 KV line passing overhead. He got seriously injured due to the electric current. The local people removed the flag from the wires and took him to the hospital, where he died.

The police officer said that Jagdish Prasad Saini, a resident of Booj village, was going to Diggi carrying a flag. The flag touched the 11,000 KV line at Hirawala. This led to his death. The matter is being investigated.
