New Delhi, March 1 (HS). Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale said on Friday that Dr. Keshav Rao Baliram Hedgewar had founded the Sangh for three reasons. He believed that the country had forgotten its self-respect. Selfishness has increased among people. There was no sense of organization among the people. By establishing the Sangh, he recognized these three defects and worked on them.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale on Friday launched the English version of the book 'Men of the Millennia Dr. Hedgewar' written on the organization's first Sarsanghchalak Dr. Keshav Rao Baliram Hedgewar. Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer was the chief guest and Asianet Executive Chairman Rajesh Kalra was the guest of honor at the event. The book launch was held at GMC Balayogi Auditorium, Parliament House.
Sarkaryavah said that a person is called a man of the era when his works continue to inspire the society even after his death. Therefore it is meaningful to call Dr. Hedgewar the Man of the Millennium. He never considered himself the founder or guru of the Sangh. He believed that awareness work has always been done in the country according to the time and situation and he too is doing the same work according to the present.
He said that he was a born patriot and a person who did not compromise on values at any cost. He believed that the work of individual development and organization are two sides of a coin and he always worked in this direction.
Hosabale told that after the death of Dr. Hedgewar, NH Palkar took up the task of writing his biography. This book was translated into many languages but its version in English had not yet come out. Anil Nene ji translated this book. Sadly, he passed away before the book was released.
He said that to understand Sangh and Sangh work, more heart is required than mind. It is a matter of emotion. That is why it is said in the Sangh that to understand the Sangh one should come to the Sangh branch.
Asianet's Rajesh Kalra said that discipline is given importance in the Sangh. The workers work with the spirit of national supremacy. In such a situation, they do not understand why the wrong narrative continued against the organization for years. The Sangh has always left a positive impact on the society.
On this occasion, Suruchi Prakashan President Rajeev Tuli said that this is the most authentic book written on Dr. Hedgewar. The aim of the publication is that the people who make India great in the country and abroad should read it and take inspiration.
