Hisar, August 9 (HS). The Lord's swing festival began with great pomp at Shri Tirupati Balaji Dham, which establishes harmony among different cultures. Devotees from different areas will participate in this festival which will continue till August 19.
After grand decoration of the swing, the idol of Lord Venkatesh was placed on the swing with full rituals on Friday. Similarly, after the worship, the idol of the mother was also placed along with it. The ritual of swinging the swing was started with chanting of mantras. There was no limit to the devotees on this occasion. The devotees kept chanting Jai Srimannarayan, Jai Govinda, Jai Bhagwan Venkatesh and Jai Tirupati Balaji.
Just as nature adorns the earth in the month of Saavan, similarly man adorns God and worships his deity. A similar form is visible in the swing festival of Tirupati Dham. Devotees are experiencing a different feeling after seeing their deity. Various temples have been built with stones brought from South India in Tirupati Dham, located near the toll plaza on Agroha Road. One experiences spirituality and peace after reaching here.
The devotees who reached the swing festival also got the opportunity to visit the temples of Shri Venkatesh Bhagwan Ji, Shri Padmavati Mata Ji, Shri Godamba Mata Ji, Shri Garuda Ji, Shri Lakshmi Nrisinh Ji, Shri Sudarshan Ji, Shri Ramanuja Swami Ji, Shri Shathkop Swami Ji and Shri Hanuman Ji located in Shri Tirupati Balaji Dham. The devotees also visited the 42 feet high golden Shri Garuda pillar, Balipeetham, Shri Tirupati Yagyashala and Shri Pushkarni.
