A huge rally was taken out on World Tribal Day at Bastar Divisional Headquarters

Jagdalpur, 9 August (HS). On the occasion of World Tribal Day, the tribal community celebrated World Tribal Day by taking out a huge rally in Jagdalpur, the headquarters of Bastar division, on Friday. During this, thousands of men and women of the tribal community were moving forward in their traditional attire, dancing and singing with traditional musical instruments and DJ.

During this, at major crossings, officials and public representatives of social organizations and political parties welcomed the rally with garlands and flower showers and sent hearty greetings and best wishes of Tribal Day to all tribal brothers and sisters and all the people. It is known that World Tribal Day was started in 1982 by the United Nations General Assembly, where 9 August was declared as Tribal Day to promote the rights of tribals. Since then, the tribal community has been celebrating World Tribal Day every year.
