Assembly Speaker Devnani informed the Prime Minister about the innovations done in Rajasthan Assembly

New Delhi/ Jaipur, 9 August (HS). Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani was on a visit to Delhi on Friday. Devnani had a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Parliament in Delhi. Devnani congratulated Modi for the golden tenure of the central government formed for the third time under his leadership. Devnani described the trust placed by the public on Prime Minister Modi as historic.

Devnani presented a flower bouquet, a picture of Lord Jhulelal, a copy of the Partition Vibhishika book and the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha diary starting from Chaitra Shukla Pratipada Vikram Samvat 2081 to Prime Minister Modi. Devnani thanked the Prime Minister for starting the celebration of Partition Vibhishika Smriti Diwas on 14 August from the year 2021 on the initiative of Prime Minister Modi. Devnani told the Prime Minister that his family had also suffered the pain of Partition. Devnani also discussed with the Prime Minister about the glorious history of the Sindhi community. Devnani informed Prime Minister Modi about the innovations made in the 16th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Speaker Devnani also presented a folder of innovations made in the Assembly to Prime Minister Modi.

Prime Minister Modi saw the diary of Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha which was started from the Indian New Year. Congratulating Devnani for this publication, the Prime Minister said that the pictures of great men published at the beginning of each month in the diary make us proud. The Prime Minister saw the first page of each month's Vidhan Sabha diary. The Prime Minister appreciated the innovations made in the Vidhan Sabha. Devnani told the Prime Minister that the work of NeVA project has been started to make Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha paperless on the lines of Gujarat Vidhan Sabha. In this courtesy meeting of Speaker Devnani with Prime Minister Modi, various issues related to Rajasthan were discussed in detail.
