Purnia, 09 August (HS). Kajha Kothi of Purnia district is soon going to be developed as a modern and attractive tourist destination. The District Officer recently conducted a field inspection of Kajha Kothi and revealed the plan for its development.
In this project, a Kazha Haat will be constructed on the lines of Delhi Haat. There will be 20 stalls showcasing local cuisine and handicrafts. A huge dining area will also be built for tourists. The pond at Kazha Kothi will have facilities for paddle boating, musical fountain and aerated fountain. Light and sound shows will be organized for the entertainment of tourists. Special facilities like MTV and hanging jungle bridge will be built for children and adventure sports enthusiasts. The venue will also have additional facilities like selfie points, canopy walk, cottages, cafeteria and gazebo.
An exhibition gallery will showcase the historical significance of Kazha. The district magistrate said the project would be a unique amalgamation of heritage and modernity. He hoped the site would become a great centre of entertainment and adventure activities for the people of Purnia and surrounding areas.
