Mirzapur, 09 August (HS). Cabinet Minister Ashish Patel said that today the centenary year of the Kakori train action incident is being celebrated across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the government of Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath salute and remember every act in which our great men sacrificed their lives for the country.

He said that Kakori train action is an important event in the history of Indian freedom struggle, which shook the British rule. On 9th August 1925, the freedom movement being run by the revolutionaries in Kakori of Lucknow district needed money for which this incident was carried out.

City MLA Ratnakar Mishra, while paying homage to all freedom fighters, said that everyone should read and remember the sagas of revolutionaries, this is the true tribute to them. District Panchayat Chairman Raju Kanaujia, MLA Chanbe Rinki Kol and former Rajya Sabha MP Ramsakal also paid homage to the brave sons of freedom while giving information about them. District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan gave detailed information about the organization of Kakori Train Action Centenary Celebration and thanked and thanked the public representatives and the people present.

Families of freedom fighters honored

On the occasion of Kakori Train Action Centenary Festival, Cabinet Minister Ashish Patel and other public representatives honoured senior freedom fighter Krishnawati Devi, wife of late Ramniranjan Singh, village Hasipur, Mahendra Singh, grandson of Sugwanti Devi, wife of late Ramsakal, resident of village Dohari Jamalpur, Jaiprakash Shukla, son of Rupwanti Devi, wife of late Ramkrishna Shukla, village Dhunai Jamua Bazaar, Ishwarisharan Dwivedi, grandson of Kalawati Devi, wife of late Arjun Prasad, village Semri Block Manjhwa, Harishankar Singh, son of Gulabpati, wife of late Shravan Kumar Singh, village Pachorkhara Rajgarh, Virendra Singh, son of Rajkumari Devi, wife of late Ramdhani, village Moharpur Ahraura and Harikrishna Pandey, son of late Sharda Prasad Pandey, resident of Kotwa by presenting them with Devi's picture, Angavastram and garlands.
