During this period, the Chief Minister sent Rs 125 crore as pension to 8 lakh 36 thousand 603 beneficiaries through one click system.
Through One Click, a total amount of Rs 79.97 crore was sent to 5 lakh 33 thousand 180 beneficiaries of old age pension, Rs 31.80 crore to 2 lakh 12 thousand 30 beneficiaries of widow pension and Rs 13.70 crore to 91 thousand 393 beneficiaries of disabled pension through One Click. Has been. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the old age, widow and disabled pension given through DBT will provide relief to the beneficiaries. Along with simplifying the pension schemes, the state government has increased the earlier amount from Rs 1200 to Rs 1500.
Government working for the progress of disabled people
The Chief Minister said that earlier the pension was paid at an interval of three months, but now the pension will come directly into the accounts of the beneficiaries every month. The state government is continuously working to provide pension to the disabled people along with connecting them with the mainstream, providing them employment and their progress.
Transparency brought about by online application system
Chief Minister Dhami said that arrangements have been made to make all the applications for the pension scheme online from April 2023. This has brought transparency in pension approval and beneficiaries are also getting the opportunity to know the status of their applications.
