Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is in the news for her film 'Phir Ae Haseen Dilruba'. Her film has been released on the OTT platform Netflix today on 9th August. During the show, she not only discussed her film but also shared some horrifying memories from her childhood. Taapsee told how her awareness about safety increased over time. Gradually, she started questioning the restrictions, attire and customs imposed on women.

The actress said, 'Now I don't need to run when it's dark.' Apart from this, she also talked about the safety of Delhi and Mumbai. Taapsee said, 'Delhi has always been considered a relatively unsafe place. Even when I was in cities like Hyderabad and Chennai, I saw a big difference in terms of safety.

The actress further said, 'When I lived in Delhi, my parents used to be worried about my safety. They used to tell me to call every 15 minutes after 8 pm but the atmosphere in Mumbai is different. The mentality of the people here is very calm. The actress said, 'I consider myself lucky that I never felt unsafe on the set. Neither of us had to face any unpleasant incident. However, I have heard a lot from others.

Sharing the horrific memories of her childhood, Taapsee Pannu said, 'When I was 15 years old and lived in Delhi, a man tried to touch me inappropriately in public transport. After this, I twisted his finger and I was very scared during this time. I immediately ran away from there to save myself.' Women traveling in DTC buses are always tried to be touched inappropriately. Apart from this, Taapsee also discussed about being trolled on social media.

She said that social media is like a double-edged sword that does not allow one to directly connect with their fans. There are many negative comments here which can upset many people. However, I never let these comments dominate me. Taapsee said that she feels that if someone comes online and misbehaves with her and takes her time for her, then she feels that it is important for her.
