Surat: The central government will celebrate 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign across the country from 8 to 15 August. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, a tricolor padyatra will be taken out in various cities including Surat from 8 to 15 August as part of the 78th Independence Day celebrations across the state.

Under this, painting and rangoli competitions on the theme of patriotism were organized in various Suman High Schools of the city with the inspiration of Surat District Education Officer's Office. A grand replica of the country's map was also made by school children. Children made various paintings expressing patriotism. The winning students in the painting competition were honored with prizes. Along with this, the school family also made the children understand the importance of maintaining independence and respecting the tricolor.

Tricolor distributed by Surat Village Police at Kamrej Crossing
As 15th August drew closer, a program was organized by the police in Surat district to distribute tricolours to the people under the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. Police officers including Police Chief Hitesh Joysar were present in the program and distributed tricolours to the people.

Under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, a tricolor distribution program was organized by Surat Rural Police at Kamrej Crossing today. Village Police Chief Hitesh Joysar was present in the program and tricolors were distributed to the people. District Police Chief Hitesh Joysar said that such programs will now be organized in every village police station every day.

Surat Rural Police Chief Hitesh Joysar said that when India's Independence Day is coming on 15 August 2024, under the Har Ghar Tiranga program, Surat Rural District Police organized a program to distribute tricolors to the people at Kamrej Chowkdi. Such a program will be organized at every police station in Surat district every day from now on.
