Both the jail constables were finally suspended, 3 days ago they were caught rioting after drinking alcohol in Bajrangwadi

Gandhigram police in Rajkot raided Bhavani Park in Punitnagar near Bajrangwadi late last night based on a tip-off received at the control room and arrested four people, including two jail constables of Rajkot jail, who were consuming alcohol. The jail chief has taken strict action and ordered the suspension of both of them.

Gandhigram Police Station PI B.T. was on night duty on PCR two days ago under the instructions and guidance of Lokrakshak Mehulbhai Akbari, when a call came from the control room at 1.30 am. In which four people were drinking alcohol near the provision store in Bhavani Park on Punitnagar Main Road of Bajrangwadi, on this basis the police team reached there and found four people in a drunken state.

In which Rajkot Jail's Jail Constable Girirajdan Ashokdan Israni living in Railnagar Amrit Park, Jail Constable Maheshbhai Keshabhai Kalia living in Central Jail Quarters, Bhavikbhai Chavda living in Railnagar Asopalav and Dushyant Andubha Jaisal were arrested after being found drunk and further investigation was done. Rajkot District Jail Superintendent Raghav Jain has summoned two of the four jail constables in this crime and a report has been lodged against both the jail constables to the state jail chief Dr. K.L.N.Rao ordered the suspension of both constables Girirajdan Israni and Mahesh Kalia, which created a ruckus in the police station.
