Jaipur, August 8 (HS). The ad hoc committee of Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) on Thursday registered a case against three members of the former executive committee headed by Vaibhav Gehlot in Jyoti Nagar police station. These include the names of former secretary Bhavani Samota, treasurer Rampal Sharma and joint secretary Rajesh Bhadana. Along with this, a 363-page investigation report was submitted to the police. These include scams ranging from the construction of the stadium to the IPL matches.

The government had formed an ad hoc committee after dissolving the former executive of the Rajasthan Cricket Association. After its formation, the ad hoc committee started investigating the decisions of the former executive. After nearly 100 days of investigation, the ad hoc committee has prepared a report of more than 360 pages. It contains evidence of the construction of the new stadium, maintenance of the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, tenders during ODIs, Indian Premier League and Rajasthan Premier League, as well as all the scams and irregularities related to the Rajasthan Cricket Association.

BJP MLA and convenor of the ad hoc committee Jaideep Bihani said that former secretary Samota, treasurer Sharma and joint secretary Bhadana had signed all the documents. Our investigation has found strong evidence against these three people. In such a situation, now the police will have to investigate and find out on whose behest these former executive officials had committed these scams. Bihani said that even though Rampal Sharma has joined the BJP, it does not mean that he will commit corruption and will be saved by joining the BJP. If he has committed corruption with cricket and players, then strict action should be taken against him. The decisions taken during the former executive of RCA were investigated. Many scams and irregularities have come to light in this. These include scams from the construction of the stadium to the IPL match. To register this complaint, today we reached Jyoti Nagar police station in Jaipur.

He said that earlier we had submitted the report of the scam that happened during the previous executive to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. They also want that every possible work should be done for the welfare of cricket and players. Along with this, strict action should be taken against those who have done scams in players and cricket. Adhoc committee member and Pali District Cricket Association secretary Dharamveer Singh said that we had got the work of the former executive of RCA investigated by financial experts. Huge irregularities came to light in this. An investigation report of more than 360 pages has been submitted to the police. It has strong evidence of corruption of crores of rupees in the construction of the stadium and the tenders during IPL and Rajasthan Premier League (RPL). We not only hope but have full faith that Rajasthan Police will take action in this matter as soon as possible and take strict action against the culprits.

Vimal Sharma, member of the ad hoc committee, said that the former executive of RCA had crossed all limits of corruption during RPL. The firm whose GST number was not even generated, was given contracts worth crores of rupees against the rules. The firm which was doing catering work, was given the work of building construction. In this way, the former officer had committed huge scams by ignoring all the rules. The players and staff of RCA were not even being paid. At the same time, crores of rupees were being looted by the desired firms and lawyers. A police report has been filed against this with evidence.
