Kolkata, 07 August (HS). BJP leader Dilip Ghosh has launched a scathing attack on Mamata Banerjee over the student movement in Bangladesh. Ghosh alleged that those who are spreading unrest in Bangladesh are the ones who are spreading violence in West Bengal after the elections. In response, Trinamool spokesperson Shantanu Sen attacked Ghosh sharply and said that this is an attempt to do politics of religious polarization.

Dilip Ghosh said that there is an atmosphere of anarchy in Bangladesh. The same people who are spreading violence in Bangladesh are the ones who are creating violence in West Bengal after the elections. Mamata Banerjee is in favor of these people, so she is not saying anything about this.

Shantanu Sen strongly opposed Dilip Ghosh's statement and said that he has lost credibility in his own party. The party does not give importance to him. Now he is trying to polarize religion.

In fact, a student movement has been going on in Bangladesh for about two months regarding quota reservation, which later turned into the 'Hasina Hatao' movement. The protesters entered the Ganabhaban and created a lot of ruckus, due to which former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had to resign and leave the country in just 45 minutes. Even after this, the series of violence has not stopped and lives are being lost one after the other in Bangladesh.

Local people say that the minority Hindu community is being oppressed in the name of the movement.

Seeing this situation, Dilip Ghosh gave his reaction and criticized Mamata Banerjee. At the same time, Trinamool Congress called it a part of BJP's politics of religious polarization.
