Students of council schools joined Akshaya Patra's Green Braj Sankalp, students and parents of 27 schools planted trees

Mathura, 07 August (HS). Akshaya Patra Foundation, an organization that provides hot, nutritious and tasty food to students studying in council schools of the district under the mid-day meal scheme, seems committed to the resolution of Green Braj. The organization has been running the Mera Paudha, Mera Jeevan campaign for the last five years. This year, in this campaign, students of 27 schools of the district, parents, various social workers and farmers together planted 36,300 fruit-bearing plants that flourish in the district in their homes, schools, parks and fields.

The program coordinator of the organization, Jitendra Sharma, told that Akshaya Patra Foundation is not limited to providing the benefit of mid-day meal scheme to the children. The organization distributes stationery items, bags etc. from time to time as per the requirement of the students. These students of today are the future of our country tomorrow. Their love for nature should increase. To make the society understand the importance of trees, the organization is continuously running the Mera Paudha, Mera Jeevan campaign. Giving information, he told that with the help of the Horticulture Department, this year the organization received the support of 31,300 fruit plants and 5000 fruit plants through Khushali Foundation. Along with this, the organization is preparing a proposal for the beautification of ponds located in 5 villages for water conservation in the district.

Divisional Forest Officer Mathura, Rajnikant Mittal, District Horticulture Officer Manoj Kumar Chaturvedi, CA Sharad, Virendra, Nitesh of Khushalali Foundation, while Amit Jha, Rajiv Rawat, Hansika Singh, Vikram, Vishnu Singh and others from the organization made significant contributions in this project being run by the organization.
