On Wednesday, a truck carrying coconuts from Tamil Nadu overturned 50 feet down in the valley after its brakes failed at Badka Mod Ghuman on the Rewa-Mirzapur road under Drummondganj police station area. The police sent the injured truck driver and cleaner to the local hospital for treatment.
A truck carrying coconuts from Tamil Nadu to Ara Bihar overturned 50 feet down in the Drummondganj valley due to brake failure. In the accident, the truck driver Shakti Binda (42) and the helper Ravi (50), residents of Harur district Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu were sent to the local hospital by the police for treatment.
Drummondganj Inspector-in-Charge Arvind Saroj said that the truck overturned in the valley due to brake failure. The truck driver and the helper were treated. Both are now in normal condition.
