New Delhi, March 01 (Hindustan Reporter) Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) has suffered another setback before the Lok Sabha elections. BRS MP from Telangana's Zaheerabad Lok Sabha constituency BB Patil joined the BJP on Friday. Patil took membership of BJP in the presence of Union Minister of State Rajiv Chandrashekhar, Dr. K Laxman and General Secretary Tarun Chugh at the BJP headquarters.
Patil said that he joined BJP after being impressed by the development work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his tenure in the last ten years. The present government has undertaken Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, women's welfare and development works.
Earlier on Thursday, BRS MP Pothuganti Ramulu joined the BJP.
