Ayodhya, 7 August (HS). The Nishad community has expressed satisfaction over the action taken by the Yogi government in the case of gang rape of a minor in Bhadarsa town of Ayodhya district. On Wednesday morning, representatives of the Nishad community met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Ayodhya. The Chief Minister assured everyone that the culprits of the shameful act committed against the girl will get the harshest punishment, no one will be spared.
During the meeting that lasted for about 15 minutes, half a dozen representatives of the Nishad community justified the action being taken against the accused SP leader. The representatives of the Nishad community who met Chief Minister Yogi included Mahant Ramsevak Das Nishad, Anju Nishad, Durga Prasad Nishad, Sandeep Nishad, Manjeet Nishad, Asharam Nishad and Vishnu Nishad.
In the case of gang rape of a minor in Bhadarsa town, SP leader Muid Khan, close to local SP MP Awadhesh Prasad, and his servant Raju have already been arrested by the police. During the monsoon session of the assembly, Chief Minister Adityanath had condemned the incident in harsh words and said that the culprits would not be spared, and also condemned the SP for having a soft corner for the accused. The Chief Minister met the mother of the victim girl and assured strict action. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, a member of the State Child Protection Commission also met the victim and her family and consoled them. Apart from this, an immediate amount of Rs 5 lakh was provided by the Chief Minister to help the victim's family. The BJP delegation also met the victim and her family and assured strict action against the accused by the Yogi government.
Considering the seriousness of the incident, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, not only Purakalandar police station in-charge Ratan Sharma and Bhadarsha outpost in-charge Akhilesh Gupta were suspended, but an investigation of the property of the main accused was also started. The district administration demolished the illegal construction on the bakery of the main accused with a bulldozer. It is believed that soon the government's bulldozer may roar on his other properties.
