Khunti, March 1 (Hindustan Reporter) The shopkeepers of the Public Distribution System of Torpa organized a ceremony on the banks of the Karo River on Friday and bid an emotional farewell to the outgoing Block Supply Officer cum Cooperative Officer Jitendra Minj.
On the occasion, Torpa chief Rohit Surin, Rania block chief Nelly Dahanga, Torpa deputy chief Santosh Kar, Ghura Nag, Vinayak Rai, Radheshyam Bhagat, Vanshidhar Bhagat, Lal Gopal Nath Shahdev and other citizens praised Jitendra Minj's tact and work efficiency. Praising their dedication, he said that the lack of such skilled officers will always be missed.
Outgoing BSO Minj said that he served in Torpa for about two and a half years, but he got such love from the people here that he did not realize how so much time had passed. On the occasion, people wished for his better health and bright future.
