In Sangamnagari, mother Ganga performed Jalabhishek of the reclining Hanumanji

Prayagraj, 07 August (HS). In Sangam city Prayagraj, on Wednesday morning at 6:50 am, Maa Ganga washed the feet of Hanumanji who was lying down here by offering water. Mahant Balveer Giri performed the Puja and closed the doors of the temple.

Since last Tuesday, Gangaji was rapidly coming towards Hanumanji. It seemed that Hanumanji would soon take a bath. On Wednesday morning, the water of Maa Ganga entered the temple. During this, the Mahant of the temple, Balveer Giri Maharaj, performed the Puja. Along with this, hundreds of devotees reached the temple and performed the Puja and became witnesses of this special meeting. With the Jal Abhishek by Maa Ganga, the doors of the temple of the reclining Hanumanji were closed.

Let us tell you that, while on one hand people get scared of floods, on the other hand, the people of Sangam city wish every year that Mother Ganga performs Jalabhishek of Hanumanji. It is believed that the year in which Mother Ganga performs Jalabhishek, happiness and prosperity increases in Prayagraj and its surrounding areas.

It is noteworthy that at present, the Ganga river is much below the danger mark. The danger level is 84.73 meters. Whereas till 8 am today, Wednesday, the level is 78.62 in Phaphamau, 80.91 in Chhatnag and 81.66 meters in Naini.
