Jaipur, 6 August (HS). BJP state president Madan Rathore described the central government's ownership plan as a milestone for the villagers and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the ownership plan with the aim of giving legal rights to the owners of inhabited houses in the villages. Under the plan, drone survey has been done in 3 lakh 12 thousand villages of the country and soon the owners of inhabited houses in these villages will be issued “property card or title deed”.

BJP state president Rathore had raised a question about the ownership scheme in the Rajya Sabha and in response to this, Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, Prof. SP Singh Baghel replied that Prime Minister Modi had started the ownership scheme for farmers under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, State Revenue Department, State Panchayati Raj Department and Indian Survey Department. Under this scheme, legal ownership rights will be given to the owners of inhabited houses in the villages of the country. Under this, property cards will be issued to the owners of houses. For this, the concerned departments of the Central Government have got the villages surveyed by drones and the papers have been prepared.

Rathore informed that under the Swamitva Yojana, 3 lakh 44 thousand 400 villages were to be surveyed across the country, out of which the drone survey of 3 lakh 12 thousand 563 villages has been completed by the central government. Out of these 3 lakh 12 thousand, the property cards of 1 lakh 30 thousand house owners have been prepared. These will be handed over to the house owners soon. On the other hand, if seen in the perspective of Rajasthan, 36310 villages were selected under the Swamitva Yojana and out of these, the drone survey of 35 thousand 652 villages was completed. Out of these, the property cards of 6695 houses have been prepared, soon the property cards will be issued to the house owners.
