Kanpur, 06 August (HS). India is an agricultural country and women work shoulder to shoulder with men. Now many technologies have come into agriculture due to which the contribution of women in agriculture is constantly increasing. These things were said by Vice Chancellor of CSJM University, Prof. Sudhir Kumar Awasthi on Tuesday.

A workshop was organized under the joint aegis of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Innovation Foundation and School of Advanced Agriculture Science and Technology. Chief guest Vice Chancellor of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) Prof. Sudhir Kumar Awasthi highlighted the contribution of women in agriculture. Along with this, he also suggested improving the quality of crops using genetic engineering.

CEO Innovation Foundation Vivek Mishra explained the role of agriculture in the overall development of agriculture and also motivated the students to get support from Innovation Foundation. On this occasion, Dean of Innovation Foundation Dr. Shilpa Kayastha specifically told the students about entrepreneurship in agriculture and said that various types of platforms are being provided by the Government of India to develop startups.

Ashutosh Tiwari, Founder of Nutrikosh India Private Limited, gave detailed information to the farmers about selling their crops through appropriate means. Ojas Tripathi, Founder of PBC Pet Buddy, shared his experience on important points regarding animal help and welfare. Agriculture Faculty Director Dr. Himanshu Trivedi told the students about the development of the nation and personality development.

Anil Kumar Tripathi, innovation officer of the university, explained how a startup is started with a small idea and becomes a big empire. During this, Dr. Ankit Singh Bhadauria, Dr. Aman Rathore, Dr. Sudhir Kumar, Dr. Hardesh Rajput, Dr. Shubham Bajpai, Dr. Roop Kishore Pachauri, Dr. Abhishek Dwivedi, Dr. Rohit Pandey, Shailendra Kumar Yadav, Jaswant Yadav, Dr. Shreya Singh and Dr. Abhishek Tiwari were present.
