Mirzapur, 06 August (HS). Under the National Tuberculosis Eradication Campaign, Eternal Grace Trust adopted 101 TB patients in the City Club Auditorium on Tuesday. In the presence of the chief guest District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan, a nutrition packet was presented. The District Magistrate suggested the patients to take medicines on time and pay special attention to their diet. He said that they should take advantage of the treatment facility so that the country can be TB free by 2025.
Tuberculosis Officer Dr. Anil Kumar Ojha told that TB patients are being provided free facilities everywhere. If they face any kind of problem anywhere, they can without hesitation inform me or the departmental employees any time. He told that under the Nikshay Poshan Yojana, the government is giving Rs. 500 per month to the TB patient in their account for the entire treatment period. He asked the patients present to become TB champions and share their experience of the treatment period. Along with this, the patients should become healthy by taking medicines regularly and do good work by developing courage and bravery.

During this time, District Information Officer and TB Department's Durgesh Kumar, Shamim Ahmed, Shabbir, Pankaj Singh, Awadh Bihari Kushwaha, Anshuman Dwivedi, Savitri Devi, Vinod and PPSA team members along with Trust's Santosh Masih, Ranjana Dasan, Aneesh, Arun Pal etc. were present.
