Varanasi, 06 August (HS). Financial assistance of four lakh rupees was made available from the State Disaster Relief Fund to Ashok Kumar Gupta, the legal heir of Premlata, a woman who died in a dilapidated house accident in Khowa Gali, Yellow Zone of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple. On Tuesday afternoon, former state minister and city south MLA Dr Neelkanth Tiwari provided the certificate of financial assistance to Ashok Gupta. The MLA directed the concerned to provide better treatment to the injured in the accident. During this, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Bandita Srivastava was also present.
It is noteworthy that on Monday night at around 3.30, two dilapidated houses (building number CK 28/7 and building number CK 28/6, 06) suddenly collapsed.
