Prayagraj, 06 August (HS). Allahabad High Court has sought clarification from SP Jaunpur and SHO Jalalpur for not registering FIR on the complaint of suspicious death of Ruby, a student of class IX in Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Girls School located in Sirkoni, Gyaspur of Jaunpur district.

The court has sought personal affidavits from these officials and in case they fail to do so, has directed them to appear on August 8 at 10 am. The girl's maternal uncle had complained to the police on July 2, 24 expressing doubts about the death in the school and suspecting it to be a murder. The court had sought information about the steps taken and now has sought an explanation for not taking action.

This order was given by the division bench of Justice Siddharth and Justice Brijraj Singh while hearing the petition of the deceased student's maternal uncle Govind Nishad. In the petition, a judicial inquiry has been demanded into the suspicious death of the student.

It is known that the student went to study in a Balika Vidyalaya on July 2. About three and a half hours after reaching the school, the family got a call from the school principal that their daughter had died. On receiving the information, the distraught family reached the school and saw that the student's body was being sealed and taken for postmortem.

The family requested the school administration and officials to see the dead body. But everyone ignored their request. It is alleged that they were forced to sign the Panchnama of the dead body. It was told that till now the First Information Report has not been filed and there is no videography or photography of the incident. With the connivance of the school administration and officials, the case of murder is being portrayed as suicide.
