Shambhavi Peethadheeshwar wrote a letter to the Akhada Parishad President, said- reminded of the tradition of Adi Shankar

Haridwar, 06 August (HS). Shambhavi Peethadheeshwar and Kali Sena chief Swami Anand Swaroop Maharaj has sent a letter to the President of All India Akhada Parishad and Secretary of Shri Panchayati Akhada Mahanirvani, Srimahant Ravindra Puri Maharaj, appealing to restructure the Akhadas and give them knowledge of weapons along with scriptures.

In the letter, Swami Anand Swaroop Maharaj said that in view of the incident that happened in Bangladesh yesterday, India too can face such situations in the future. When Akhadas were formed in the tradition of Adi Shankara, they were formed for this religious war. Today, when the Islamic threat has once again fallen on all Hindus of India and the world or should I say on non-Muslims, the role of Akhadas becomes relevant.

He requested that all the Akharas be restructured. They should be trained in weapons along with scriptures, so that whenever the government withdraws its hand and does not stand for the protection of Hindus, these Akharas stand for their protection just like they stood for the protection of Hindus from invaders like Humayun, Akbar, Aurangzeb, Ahmed Shah Abdali etc. He said that it is sad that in today's time Akharas have become completely useless. He expressed hope that under the leadership of All India Akhara Parishad, Akharas will stand up again and protect Hindus. He said that keeping in mind the circumstances arising from Bangladesh, serious consideration should be taken and steps should be taken to correct the atmosphere of fear prevailing in the Hindu society by equipping Akharas in India with scriptures and weapons. If needed, all will leave for Bangladesh with Naga Sadhus.
