Direct train from Chandigarh to Udaipur will pass through these routes; Know the timing

Passengers travelling to the city of lakes Udaipur via South Haryana's Millennium City Gurugram, Rewari will now get a direct train from Sonipat. Railways have decided to extend train number 20473-74 Chetak Express running between Udaipur and Sarai Rohilla (Delhi) to Chandigarh.

With its operation, there will be direct connectivity between the GT Road belt of South Haryana and North Haryana as well as the state capital Chandigarh. Currently, hundreds of passengers have to travel by buses, which takes time as well as fare. Chetak Express will take you from Sonipat to Chandigarh in three and a half hours.

With its launch, passengers will get an alternative to train number 14095-96 Himalayan Queen which has been closed for four years. There was a long standing demand to run the Himalayan Queen again. Himalayan Queen was started during the Covid period, which has not been restarted yet.

There is no direct train from Sonipat to Gurgaon, Rewari and Rajasthan. Passengers have to go to Delhi to catch the train. This train will provide great relief to those who travel to Chandigarh in the morning. The arrival time in Chandigarh will be 9:15 am, so people who travel daily will be able to reach their offices comfortably.

Similarly, people working in night shifts in Delhi-Gurgaon companies will benefit. With the start of Chetak Express, a large part of Rajasthan including Bhilwara and Chittorgarh will be connected to the city. Tourists going to Udaipur will also benefit a lot.

Benefits to the devotees of Khat Shyam Ji

Chetak Express passes through Ringas Junction. Passengers going to Khatu Shyamji use this station. A large number of devotees from Sonipat and nearby areas go to Khatu Shyamji. In the morning, a roadways bus goes directly from Sonipat, but it is often crowded. In such a situation, passengers used to catch a train from Delhi to go to Ringas. Now thousands of devotees will get relief.
