The world's first musical play “Rajadhiraj: Love Life Leela” based on the Rajadhiraj form of Lord Shri Krishna has been conceived and presented by Dhanraj Nathwani. The 120-minute long musical play that brings alive the greatness and benevolence of Lord Shri Krishna will be staged daily from August 15 to September 1 at the Grand Theatre of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.

A feature of Krishna's multiple personalities in musical drama
Under the direction of veteran theatre director Shruti Sharma, who specializes in music, the production features over 180 artistes portraying the union of the divine forms of Lord Shri Krishna, as the forms of Shrinathji and Dwarkadhish are shown together for the first time in a musical. From Krishna's childhood as a magical cowherd to his philosophical role as a beloved villager in Gokul to his philosophical role as a charioteer preaching the imperishable Srimad Bhagavad Gita, this musical enthrallingly showcases the multifaceted personality traits of Krishna.
A blend of Indian semi-classical styles
A heartwarming soundtrack of 20 original songs composed by renowned composers Sachin-Jigar is testimony to its mesmerizing charm. The music combines elements of Western symphonic music, especially music recorded in Budapest, with Indian classical music as well as Haveli music, Rajasthani and Gujarati folk music, and Indian semi-classical styles.
Award-winning Bollywood production designer Omung Kumar has beautifully captured the scenes, taking the audience on a journey through ancient India. The show is creatively produced by National Award-winning writer Ram Mori along with renowned professionals Parthiv Gohil and Viral Rach, who present in-depth story research.
Choreographers Bertwin D'Souza and Shampa Gopikrishna's exquisite dance sequences, performed by over 60 dancers, will immerse you in the colourful world of Krishna. Shampa Gopikrishna is carrying forward the legacy of his late father and legendary Kathak dancer and choreographer Nataraja Sri Gopikrishna.
The costumes brought the characters to life
Renowned costume designer Neeta Lulla, known for her work in many iconic Indian films, has brought alive the characters from the Puranas with over 1800 meticulously designed costumes, emphasizing the divine vibrancy, adventure and spiritual depth of each character.
