Mirzapur, 05 August (HS). Two members of a group of eight tourists who had come to Tanda Falls for picnic from Azamgarh district slipped and fell into a 250 feet deep gorge. The police personnel deployed on duty showed promptness and saved the lives of both.
Eight tourists from Azamgarh district had come to Tanda Falls situated under Lalganj police station area for picnic on Sunday. During the tour, two tourists suddenly slipped and fell into a gorge about 250 feet below. On receiving information from the people, Lalganj police immediately reached the spot and rescued the two tourists in time and saved their lives.
Area Officer Lalganj told on Monday that two tourists slipped and fell in Tanda Falls. The two police personnel deployed there rescued both the tourists without wasting any time.
The tourists were rescued and their lives were saved. The tourists suffered minor injuries and were immediately sent to the divisional hospital for treatment. Their condition is said to be normal.
