The family and villagers were praying to God day and night for the safe return of ten youths of Bhojpur's Shakurpur village who were stranded after the cloudburst and landslide in Kedar Valley. On Sunday, when all ten youths reached the village safely, the atmosphere of the village changed completely. The family and villagers jumped with joy. The family welcomed the youths by performing aarti and thanked God.
Let us tell you that Ankush Kumar, Anuj, Suraj Kumar, Raghav, Sachin Kumar, Anuj, Jatin, Vishnu, Nitesh Kumar and Abhishek Kumar, residents of Shakurpur village, had gone on different bikes to visit religious places like Kedar Dham in Uttarakhand. But they got stuck there after the cloudburst and landslide in Kedar Valley. On receiving this information, the family and villagers were very worried and were praying for their safety day and night. All the youths returned safely on Sunday.
Army soldiers came as God for us
Sachin, who returned, said that they reached Kedarnath Dham on 31st July and stayed there by renting a tent. Then at night, a cloud burst in Kedar Valley and a landslide occurred. The local administration informed that the roads to Kedarnath Dham were closed. The administration also announced that people should stay where they are. They were stranded there for three days. The army provided them with food items. Sachin said that the army soldiers came as God for them and rescued them and brought them out safely from there. We will remain indebted to the army for the rest of our lives.
